I established and refined art programs K-12 within two districts from 1978-2019, taught adjunct classes at the university level, was involved with local and national art educator organizations, and attended local, national, and international conferences focused on the creative development of children of all ages and abilities. Within my community, I promoted the creative development of young children by creating murals that inspire imaginative plans within an indoor play place and for a childhood care center in St. Peter. I combined nature images with discovery and texture experiences to create exploratory panels for the Southern Minnesota Children's Museum. For over 40 years, I have been involved with the Arts: Community Education Advisory Board member, Musician, Visual Artist (exhibition work, murals work, costume designer), and the Heritage Preservation Commission
